The Katsina State Government has approved the sum of N6.1 billion for scholarship awards to more than 174,000 students across the state.
Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda made the announcement on Wednesday, stating that the investment is part of his administration’s commitment to boosting education and reducing financial barriers to learning.
The scholarships will cover students in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, including those studying within Nigeria and abroad under the state’s educational support schemes.
Governor Radda emphasized that education remains a top priority for his government and urged beneficiaries to justify the investment through dedication and excellence.
