Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed a strong response following a missile strike linked to Iran, declaring that senior figures within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) would be personally targeted.
Netanyahu made the remarks during a visit to the southern Israeli town of Arad, which was hit by a missile the previous day, causing damage and raising tensions in the region.
Inspecting the aftermath, the Israeli leader accused the IRGC of orchestrating the attack and described the group as a “criminal gang,” reiterating Israel’s determination to respond decisively.
“We’re going after them personally, their leaders, their installations, and their economic assets,” Netanyahu stated, signaling a potential escalation in hostilities.
The development marks a significant rise in tensions between Israel and Iran, with analysts warning of possible retaliatory actions that could further destabilize the Middle East.
Security experts say the situation remains volatile, with both sides maintaining strong military postures and readiness.
The international community has called for restraint, urging all parties to avoid actions that could trigger a broader conflict in the already fragile region.
