The Founder and General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has admonished pastors and church leaders to uphold truthfulness, declaring that “liars don’t last in ministry.”
Speaking at a leadership conference on Wednesday, the clergyman emphasized that ministerial longevity and impact are rooted in integrity, transparency, and faithfulness.
Oyedepo stated that deceit and exaggeration in ministry erode credibility and divine backing, urging leaders to prioritize character over charisma and substance over spectacle.
His message comes amid ongoing public discourse about accountability and ethical leadership within religious circles in Nigeria.
The bishop, who leads one of Africa’s largest congregations, has frequently addressed issues of integrity, stewardship, and sincerity in Christian ministry.
