Poll Projects 85% Voter Turnout, Landslide Win for Soludo in Anambra Election

A new pre-election poll projects an impressive 85% voter turnout and a sweeping victory for incumbent Governor Charles Soludo in this Saturday’s Anambra governorship election.

The survey, conducted by the African Development Institute of Research Methodology (ADIRM), forecasts Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) winning all 21 Local Government Areas with 85.7% of the vote.

Presenting the report in Abuja, a director at the institute described the election as one of the most participatory in the state’s history, citing growing trust in the democratic process. The poll, which sampled 73,500 respondents, credited the projected outcome to the administration’s performance on road rehabilitation, youth empowerment, and education.

The candidates of the APC and Labour Party are projected to secure 7.6% and 5.0% of the vote, respectively.
