Nigerians, please, I need your help. My name is Ewoma Ibeji. For a while now, Mr Umukoro Unukpia has been intimidating and harassing me over a certain Miss Elizabeth Akhere, whom he claims to have a sexual relationship with my sister.
My sister, Glory Uyoyo Oghogho, was close to Miss Elizabeth before she fled Nigeria because of Mr Umukoro, to whom she had been betrothed from childhood by our father.
I am using this media to cry out to the public to be aware of the consistent threats to my life, liberty and security, and that of my family because he can’t get hold of Glory Uyoyo Oghogho.
The persistent threats and pressure from Mr Umukoro have led to the shocking and untimely passing of our mother, Mrs Patience Oghogho. She passed away on the 12th of August 2024 because of all these troubles.
She has been in strong support of Glory Uyoyo Oghogho’s safety because of Mr Umukoro Unukpia.
Her death has been a traumatic one to both me and my sister Glory, who can’t get over the pain.
My family and I are notifying the public to please tell Mr Umukoro to leave us alone and not pass his frustration on to us.
We are stating clearly that if Mr Umukoro so much desires to apprehend my sister Glory Uyoyo Oghogho, who is in Canada, he should report her to the Canadian authorities for extradition.
Mr Umukoro should stop harassing and threatening us, Ewoma Ibeji Told.
