Three Years, No Results — Open Letter Rips Aguocha Over Poor Representation

A concerned constituent, Okwudiri Chikezie, has penned an open letter to the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Hon. Obi Aguocha, demanding tangible results instead of legal battles and excuses.

In the letter dated June 10, 2026, Chikezie expressed frustration that after three years in the House of Representatives, Aguocha has little to show in terms of constituency projects.

“What we expect of you are results, not excuses. Other House members have tangible results. You are showing us court proceedings against your opponent. How does that exonerate you from ignoring gully erosion sites?” the letter read.

The constituent also criticized the lawmaker for being complacent and distracted, urging him to focus on securing the release of over 300 constituents awaiting trial on trumped-up charges.

“While we prepare to replace you with a more success-driven person in 2027, be diligent in showing us records of your achievements, not court records,” Chikezie added.

Aguocha has yet to respond to the open letter as of press time.
