In an official statement issued in Abuja, the ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, emphasized that internal cohesion is vital for securing a decisive victory.

“The ADC remains proud to stand today as the only truly democratic party in Nigeria,” Abdullahi stated, noting that the choice of candidate will be determined through a transparent process. The high-stakes primaries feature heavyweights like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, and economist Mohammed Hayatu-Deen. Atiku has already cast his ballot at the Ajiya Ward in Yola, Adamawa State, hailing the exercise.
