The City Boy Movement (CBM) has officially inaugurated its Abia Central zonal structures in a colourful ceremony held at MOUAU Primary School, Ikwuano, with a clear mandate to mobilize grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection and all APC candidates in 2027.
The event was conducted by the Abia State leadership of the movement, including State Director, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe; Patron, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji; State Coordinator, Mr. Okechukwu Gberemakor; and Organizing Secretary, Dr. Charles Ukeagu, alongside other national executives. The Legal Adviser administered the oath of office to all inaugurated officials, from LGA Coordinators down to ward and unit executives.
Inaugurated LGA Coordinators for Abia Central include: Dr. Chiedozie Atuonwu (Ikwuano), Chief Emmanuel Egwu (Umuahia South), Prince Emeka Ihedioha Elias (Abia North), Bright Nwadinma (Osisioma), Tony Otuonye (Isialangwa South), and Christian Ubani (Isialangwa North).
Dignitaries included Rep. Sam Onuigbo, Hon. Jerry Awa (representing APC State Chairman Hon. Chijioke Chukwu), Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma (represented by Comrade Chinweuba Anyaragbu), and Hon. Innocent, contesting for Umuahia East state constituency.
Uzo Ihuka, Abia Central Zonal Coordinator, welcomed the crowd and lectured on the movement’s vision. Mayor Igbokwe assured commitment to Tinubu’s reelection, while Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji pledged unwavering support for APC.
Rep. Sam Onuigbo highlighted President Tinubu’s policies that saved the economy, and Comrade Anyaragbu delivered Rt .Hon.Emeka Atuma’s goodwill message to Movement and Dr.Ugbogu Chikwendu gave close remark and vote of thanks.
