The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled the inauguration of its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee for Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja .
In a statement issued by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the party announced that former Governor of Katsina State and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, will serve as Chairman of the Committee .
Former Senate President, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, has been appointed Vice Chairman I, while the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, will serve as Vice Chairman II .
The Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma, has been appointed Treasurer, with Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State serving as Secretary .
Morka stated that the Committee is expected to coordinate all activities leading to the anticipated peaceful and successful conduct of the party’s 2026 National Convention . The full list of leaders and members of the Committee remains as earlier published .
The inauguration marks a critical step in the APC’s preparations for its national convention, which will shape the party’s leadership structure and strategic direction ahead of the 2027 general elections .
