City Boy Movement State Director Visits FCE Ofeme-Ohuhu, Pledges Institutional Support

The State Director of the City Boy Movement, Abia State Chapter, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, has paid a strategic visit to the Federal College of Education, Ofeme-Ohuhu, Umuahia, where he was warmly received by the management, staff, and students of the institution.

Speaking during the visit, the Registrar of the College, Lady F.C.N. Ibe, expressed delight at hosting the delegation, describing the State Director and his team as progressive-minded young leaders. She noted that the institution, established just three years ago, is already making meaningful strides.

The College Librarian, Mr. Bulus Caleb Damen, who represented the Provost, Dr. Titus Sunday Ezeme, praised Mayor Igbokwe for his contributions to media development, including the establishment of two radio stations. He appealed for support in areas such as laptops, computers, staff transportation, solar power solutions, and scholarships for students.

In his response, Mayor Igbokwe pledged to facilitate partnerships with government agencies and private stakeholders to address the challenges. He announced a donation of educational materials and promised to explore scholarship opportunities for deserving students across Abia State.

The State Director was accompanied by the Organising Secretary, Hon. Charles Ukeagu, and other state executives.
