The former head of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) has denied allegations that she diverted ₦44 billion, insisting that she never misappropriated public funds.
CDA News Nigeria independently verified that the former NSIPA chief rejected the allegations and maintained that she acted within the law throughout her time in office. CDA News Nigeria gathered from the report that she described the claims against her as false and expressed confidence that the judicial process would establish her innocence.
According to the former agency boss, she neither authorised nor participated in the diversion of government funds, stressing that all financial transactions carried out during her tenure followed established procedures and accountability measures.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the denial comes amid ongoing scrutiny of the management of funds under the National Social Investment Programme. The former NSIPA chief said she remains committed to cooperating with relevant authorities and expressed confidence that the facts would emerge through due process.
