Group Unveils Ugo Gbuzuo As ‘ of Hope’ for Abia Central

Ahead of the 2027 senatorial election, a political movement has unveiled Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri (VCN), widely known as Ugo Gbuzuo Ochake, as the preferred candidate to represent Abia Central Senatorial District.

In a statement issued by the Director of Media and Strategy, Kanu Kanu MacSweeney, the VCN Movement described Ugo Gbuzuo as a transformative leader poised to rescue the district from years of misrepresentation and political oppression.

“Ugo Gbuzuo is more than a name; it is a powerful vision for change. It stands for Open Participatory Oversight Transforming Our Youths Oriented Mandate, and Opposing Political Oppression To Obliterate Years Of Misappropriation,” the statement read.

The group emphasized that Nnochiri, CEO of the Ugo Gbuzuo Foundation, has demonstrated commitment to grassroots politics through extensive tours across the six local government areas of the district: Ikwuano, Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, and Osisioma.

His agenda focuses on transparent oversight, youth empowerment through skills acquisition and talent development, and redirecting resources to infrastructure and healthcare.

“Under his youth-oriented mandate, our young people will no longer be sidelined but elevated as the driving force of progress,” the group added.

The movement called on constituents to unite behind Ugo Gbuzuo in 2027, describing him as the leader capable of transforming the district through integrity, inclusivity, and democratic representation.
