NAF Strikes Destroy Terrorist IED Hub, Neutralize Fighters in Zamfara

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has conducted successful air interdiction missions in Zamfara State, neutralizing scores of terrorists and destroying a key Improvised Explosive Device (IED) manufacturing hub.

In a statement issued on December 28, 2025, by NAF Spokesman Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the operations targeted terrorist enclaves at Turba Hill and Kachalla Dogo Sule’s camp in Tsafe Local Government Area.

Acting on credible intelligence, NAF air assets engaged the hideouts in precision strikes. The first mission at Turba Hill resulted in the complete destruction of an operational structure and the neutralization of several bandits.

The second strike targeted the camp of notorious bandit leader Kachalla Dogo Sule, identified as a major IED production and planning center for recent attacks along the Dan Sadau–Magami axis. The attack triggered intense fires that destroyed multiple facilities and crippled the group’s IED capabilities.

Air Commodore Ejodame stated that the operations significantly degraded terrorist networks in Zamfara and reaffirmed NAF’s commitment to denying safe havens to criminal elements in collaboration with other security agencies under Operation FANSAN YAMMA.
