The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State has expressed confidence that the party will become more unified and robust following its upcoming national convention.
Mr. Adamu Ninga, the State Chairman, shared this optimism after a meeting of the party’s executive council in Lafia. He described the convention as a critical milestone for the PDP.
“We are more united and determined than ever to reclaim our rightful place in Nigerian politics,” Ninga stated.
The convention, scheduled for November 15-16 in Ibadan, will see the election of new national officers. Ninga pledged an inclusive leadership style to ensure a level playing field for all members aspiring for office in the 2027 elections.
He also confirmed that women have been allotted significant delegate slots from all 13 local government areas in the state to participate in the convention.
