President Bola Tinubu has asked the Senate to confirm Dr. Bernard Doro as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The President’s request was conveyed in a letter to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, during Wednesday’s plenary session.
In the letter, President Tinubu expressed hope for the Senate’s “usual expeditious consideration” of the nominee.
Following the reading of the letter, Senate President Akpabio referred the confirmation request to the Committee of the Whole for further legislative action.
