The Nigerian entertainment industry has been plunged into deep mourning following the confirmed death of popular Nollywood actor and model, Alex Ekubo, at the age of 40.According to family sources, the award-winning actor passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, in a Lagos hospital after a prolonged battle with cancer.
His death comes after months of public concern regarding his total absence from social media and industry events since late 2024.Colleagues and fans have taken to social media to express their shock.
