A prominent support group for President Bola Tinubu has declared his re-election in 2027 is “unstoppable,” citing strategic party reforms and nationwide mobilization efforts.
In a statement released by BTO for PBAT, spokesperson Folajimi Adewumi expressed unwavering confidence, stating that nothing could prevent Tinubu’s victory “unless there are no elections in Nigeria.”
The group’s Director-General, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi, highlighted lessons learned from 2023 electoral setbacks, noting the APC has “reconnected with the people” and fortified grassroots structures. He emphasized ongoing nationwide engagement to promote Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through direct citizen outreach.
While the group points to infrastructure and economic reforms as key achievements, the declaration has drawn mixed reactions, with critics pointing to persistent economic challenges facing ordinary Nigerians.
